Every weekend after Pentecost, the Oestrich-Winkel Tourist Association invites visitors to the Flötenweg hiking experience. Twenty-two wineries along the approximately 10-kilometer route invite visitors to taste wines, enjoy light refreshments, and listen to music.

The trail marker for the Flute Trail is always the "wandering bottle."

A paid shuttle bus takes tired feet from the end point to the starting point (Hallgarten wine tasting stand and Johannisberg Castle).

You are welcome to bring your own wine glass, as well as a packed lunch, of course.

The hike can be adapted to any length, making it suitable for families with children. Dogs must be kept on a leash.
